I want to help you be heard. Your voice needs to matter, and it is imperative that the city council shift its emphasis from “business as usual” and focus on what the people of Red Deer are saying.

I first rolled into Red Deer in the early '90s, with nothing more than a sense of adventure, a love for community, and a good pair of work boots. Since then, I've raised two amazing children, been blessed with two fantastic grandchildren, built a career I’m proud of, and committed myself to serving this city that has given me so much.

My life’s journey has been driven by a simple belief: we're better when we show up for each other. That’s why I was happy when I had the chance to become a living kidney donor. Helping someone live a full life is the best return on investment I can think of.

Professionally, I serve as the Vice President of Operations for a leading company in Red Deer, where I manage complex business operations, lead diverse teams, and bring big ideas to life; all while juggling multiple schedules like a Tetris master on a triple espresso. My career has proven one thing: whether it's budgets, strategy, or team dynamics, I know how to create a plan and execute it effectively.

My passion for building stronger communities is clear beyond the boardroom as well. As the current Chairman of the Board for Habitat for Humanity Red Deer, I work alongside incredible staff and volunteers to help families achieve stability through affordable housing. And over the years, I’ve coached youth sports, mentored young leaders, and never passed up an opportunity to bring people together over a shared goal or a backyard barbecue.

Continuing education has been a significant part of my story as well. From upgrading with night classes to postgraduate degrees, I’ve always believed that learning doesn’t stop when the diploma hits your hand. That mindset helps me stay curious, forward-thinking, and open to better ways of doing things. It’s a quality I believe is crucial in public service.

If I’m chosen to represent you at City Council, I’ll bring the same high energy, strategic thinking, and can-do attitude that’s defined every chapter of my life so far. I love Red Deer. I’ve grown with it, worked for it, and now I want to work with you to make it an even better place to live, raise a family, and build a future.
